Table & Section Sponsorship
Communion Houston will only be successful if churches, ministries, and small groups step forward to take ownership of the tables where ministry will happen. Every table represents more than a meal—it is an opportunity to welcome strangers, share the Gospel, pray with people, build relationships, and demonstrate the love of Christ in a tangible way. We believe many of the most meaningful encounters of the day will happen not from a stage, but across a table.
Each sponsoring group is invited to adopt a table or section and provide the volunteers, food, and ministry presence needed to serve guests throughout the event. Sponsors are encouraged to intentionally invite the lost to the table. This could be a prodigal, a co-worker, a neighbor, or even one of the homeless at City Hall.
Our goal is for every table to become a place of hospitality, discipleship, prayer, and Gospel conversation.
Table sponsorships will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning with the sections closest to the worship platform. Groups that commit early will have the first opportunity to be nearest to the stage.
We encourage churches and ministries not to wait, but to begin assembling teams, gathering supplies, and claiming their place in what God will do through Communion Houston.
Sponsor Responsibilities
Each table sponsor should provide:
- One standard 8-foot table and 8 chairs (maximum)
- Table coverings and decorations
- Table lamps
- Food and beverages for guests and volunteers
- Coolers and ice (if needed)
- Plates, cups, napkins, and plasticware
- Serving utensils and food service supplies
- Hand sanitizer and basic hygiene supplies
- Communion elements
- Trash bags and cleanup materials
- One table host leader
- Setup and teardown team members
- Prayer and evangelism team members
Section Assignment Priority
Sections will be assigned in the following order:
- Section 6 – West Pool
- Section 1 – North Pool
- Section 5 – South Pool
- Section 2 – Northeast Pool
- Section 4 – Southeast Pool
- Section 3 – East Pool
Sections 1 and 5 will start with closest table to stage in each section.
Once a section reaches capacity, groups will be directed to the next available section. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
A non-refundable registration fee of $150 per table is required to reserve your table location.
Registration fee is to help offset some of the event costs.
We are estimating $350 / table (bare minimum) would be actually needed to help cover the event if you would consider donating additional funds.
Once this form is submitted and we have given you an orientation, you will receive a link to send in your registration fee. Your table position will be determined by the date/time of payment.
